About The Role

 

We are seeking an experienced Vendor Replenishment Planner to be based in Sydney to replenish Accolade Wines inventory within Endeavour Group Distribution Centres, ensuring seamless inventory management, on-time deliveries and maximum customer service levels with minimum effective levels of stock. Reporting to the Head of EDG, with dotted line day-to-day reporting to the full time Vendor Replenishment Planner this role represents a great opportunity for someone who prides themselves in their vendor relations and demand forecasting.

This is a permanent part-time position (19 hours per week).

Role Responsibilities

 

For Endeavour Group

  • Review system recommended orders and promo uplift estimates to identify order quantity required for each DC for each SKU
  • Place orders within inventory ordering rules
  • Monitor slow moving / deleted lines
  • Maintain correct order lead times in the ordering system and review ordering frequency based on stock velocity
  • Allocate any short supplied stock nationally to avoid out of stocks
  • Promotional reporting / evaluation
  • Suggest improvements around stock flow, and reduce inventory / cost to both businesses 
  • Requirement to go to customer head office 

 

For Accolade Wines

  • Receive and process orders
  • Book supplier stock into DCs by required due date
  • Ensure deliveries arrive on time and in full, communicating any issues to Accolade Management and Endeavour Group Management
  • Facilitate and drive improved cross functional communication between Commercial teams, Supply Chain and GBS
  • Ensure sufficient stock is available to cover planned promotions
  • Optimise stock in DCs based on knowledge of Endeavour Group and Accolade requirements 
  • Feedback regular and relevant intel to the Accolade Account Team
  • Promotional reporting / evaluation
  • Ad hoc analysis
  • Comply with all SHEQ policies and procedures
  • Provide strong leadership to engage and drive employee commitment and work effort to meet targets
  • Requirement to come into Accolade Office 

What You'll Bring

 

  • Background in Logistics, Supply Chain & Operations preferred, will consider Sales background also with appropriate analytical skillset
  • Intermediate / Advanced Excel skills with a mindset towards targets, continuous improvement, operational process optimisation 
  • Team Player with a sense of urgency and accountability
  • Tertiary Qualification (highly desirable)
  • Business / Financial acumen
  • Computer literacy
  • Collaborative and ethusiastic team player 
  • High level planning and project management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication
