About the Role
We are now recruiting for a National Business Manager take ownership of our E-Retail, Aldi, and Costco channels across ANZ. This is your opportunity to make a significant impact, driving sales growth and profitability while shaping the future of the wine industry.
Reporting to the Head of On-Premise & Business Development, ANZ, you will develop and execute strategic plans to maximize sales opportunities and strengthen partnerships. With the support of one direct report, you’ll have complete ownership of your own P&L, and represent our business at industry events.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive sales growth for key E-Retail accounts, Aldi, and Costco, achieving exceptional commercial outcomes
- Develop and execute strategic account plans, securing profitable agreements and maximizing long-term business objectives
- Build and nurture strong relationships with senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment and collaboration in joint business planning
- Analyse market trends, lead high-level negotiations, and optimize financial performance through data-driven decisions
- Collaborate with cross functional teams including marketing, supply chain, and finance to deliver impactful campaigns and product launches
- Lead, coach, and mentor your direct report, fostering a high-performance culture and empowering their professional development
- Represent the company at industry events, staying ahead of market trends and cultivating new business opportunities
What You'll Bring
- Significant experience in sales or account management, with a proven track record of success
- Expertise in managing key accounts and delivering exceptional financial results
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Strategic and commercial acumen, with a results-driven approach
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable strategies
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and lead a high-performing team
- Exceptional relationship building, influencing, and communication skills
- Strong planning, project management, and presentation skills
- Deep knowledge of FMCG / wine e-retail industry plus experience managing key accounts (highly desirable)
- Passion for wine (WSET qualification highly desirable)
