Packaging Line Operator

About Us:
Accolade Wines is expanding our production operations to include an additional shift operation on one of our glass lines. We are seeking experienced line operators to work in our state of the art packaging facility at Berri South Australia.
About the Role:
As a packaging line operator, you will be responsible for operation of high speed filling, labelling, packing and palletising equipment in our state of the art climate controlled production facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- safe and efficient operation of production machine operations including set up, change over, and troubleshooting across de-palletising, rinsing, filling, sealing, labelling, packing and palletising
- operation of inventory systems
- maintain compliance with safety and quality requirements
- report maintenance issues
- assist with recording of workplace information including line KPI’s
- assist with implementation of strategies to improve equipment efficiency and operational activities
- comply with safety, food safety and quality requirements
What We Are Looking For:
- familiarity with safety and quality requirements
- ability to communicate effectively with others
- ability to work independently and as part of a team and to support colleagues to achieve operational and safety goals
- ability to solve problems / fault find and work as part of a team to develop solutions
- previous experience in a packaging and machinery operation is desirable
- good mechanical aptitude is desirable but not essential.
- ability to work a three shift rotation
- forklift licence is desirable but not essential
