About the role and location

We have an opportunity for a Demand Controller to join our S&OP team at our UK Head Office in Weybridge, close to the train and town centre, with free parking on site.

About the role - Key Accountabilities

In this role you will play a key role in supporting the management, facilitation, implementation & improvement of both Long (strategic) and Short Term (tactical) Demand Control processes to ensure delivery of our strategic objectives. You will support the Demand Control Manager in improving Demand Control performance by ensuring our sales out performance is continuously reviewed and replenishment plans are in place to mitigate out of stocks and enhance our availability performance. 

  • Review demand signals along with live sales performance versus our stock availability and production schedules. Identify risks to availability within product lead times and work with supply teams to mitigate any impact to our customers. 
  • Communicate mid and long term identified issues, working collaboratively with Commercial Sales leads to agree allocations when required
  • Work collaboratively with Demand Planning to review and assess customer opportunities including significant promotional uplifts and advise on feasibility.
  • Support and facilitate the Demand Control aspects for all new product launches, On-Pack Activation and packaging redesigns, in collaboration with Marketing Operations
  • Work with Marketing Operations to manage product exit plans to minimise working capital implications
  • Build relationships between the Commercial business unit and The Park Supply team, driving a customer first ethos at all times
  • Work with the Demand Control Manager to assist in the preparation of the Weekly Tactical SO&P pack, as well as leading the call during staff absences
  • Provide cover for the Daily Order Fulfilment process during staff absences

About you

You will be an excellent communicator who demonstrates the ability to interpret and present complex data. You will be able to display strong relationship management skills and agile and lean leadership.
Ideally you will have 5+ years in a supply chain or operations role , preferably with end to end supply chain experience. 

You will have the flexibility to work out of office hours to accommodate the occasional call with our Australian colleagues and have the ability to travel to The Park site near Bristol,  if required.
