We are now recruiting a casual Cellar Door Host at St Hallett to deliver exceptional wine experiences to our visitors, showcasing some of the finest wines in our portfolio. 

We are seeking a flexible team member to support our Cellar Door Manager, working 3-5 shifts across a 7-day week (including weekends and public holidays). 
 

Key responsibilities include:

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience to cellar door customers, acting as tour guide, experience host and tasting guide
• Operate the cash register, including daily opening, closing and balancing duties
• Promote wine club membership to visitors and sign new members
• Undertake daily housekeeping duties to maintain the cellar door appearance
• Pick, pack and dispatch wine orders for customers
• Support the Cellar Door Manager to organise and host events that showcase our historic Cellar Door and portfolio. 
• Grow our premium member data base and sales by promoting inhouse activities and our portfolio through telephone marketing. 
   

What you’ll bring:

• A genuine understanding and passion for wine, and the ability to communicate our unique brand history to customers.  
• Exceptional customer service skills, providing our customers with the best experience possible. 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with experience in a cellar door or hospitality industry (highly desired)
• Strong English communication skills (both written and verbal), especially over the phone (required) 
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft suit and EDM software (desirable) 
• Responsible Service of Alcohol training (RSA)
