Role Details

This Learning & Development Business Partner role involves designing and delivering learning programs to build capability across the organisation, ensuring talent identification, development, and retention of a high-performing workforce. It requires partnering with team members to design, deliver, and evaluate both digital and non-digital organisational solutions aligned with business objectives. The role includes working collaboratively on leadership development, talent management, learning and development, performance management, and engagement projects. Responsibilities also include researching, planning, implementing, and evaluating processes to support organisational priorities, maintaining partnerships with employees and leaders to provide high-level services, and coordinating projects using sound project management principles while staying aware of industry trends and opportunities for innovative solutions.

Your Key Accountabilities

Strategic Partnerships
•    Collaborate with business leaders and HR business partners to identify current and future learning needs.
•    Develop L&D strategies that support the organisation's strategic goals and objectives.
•    Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing expertise on learning and development best practices.

Program Development and Delivery
•    Design, develop, and implement a variety of learning solutions, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training, blended learning programs, and leadership development initiatives.
•    Ensure all training programs are engaging, effective, and aligned with adult learning principles and instructional design best practices.
•    Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and meetings, using a variety of delivery methods to accommodate different learning styles.

Curriculum Design
•    Create and maintain detailed instructional materials, training manuals, participant guides, and other learning resources.
•    Incorporate the latest industry trends and innovations into the curriculum to ensure relevance and effectiveness.

Evaluation and Improvement
•    Develop and implement evaluation strategies to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
•    Gather and analyse feedback from participants and stakeholders to continuously improve learning solutions.
•    Track and report on training outcomes and ROI to senior leadership.

•    Utilise learning management systems (LMS) and other technology platforms to deliver, track, and manage training programs.
•    Stay current with technological advancements in the L&D field and recommend appropriate tools and systems.

Budget and Vendor Management
•    In conjunction with the Head of Capability, Culture & Talent, manage the L&D budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
•    Identify, select, and manage relationships with external training providers and consultants.
•    Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with organisational standards.

Change Management
•    Support organisational change initiatives by developing and delivering relevant training and development programs.
•    Assist in the communication and rollout of change management strategies.

Reporting and Analytics
•    Prepare regular reports on L&D activities, participation, and outcomes for senior leadership.
•    Use data and analytics to drive decision-making and demonstrate the impact of learning initiatives on business performance.

Cyclical Projects
•    In conjunction with the Head of Capability, Culture & Talent manage cyclical events such as performance and talent reviews, succession planning and engagement surveys.

Essential Qualifications

Required Qualifications and Experience

•    Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Learning & Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
•    Experience in both developing and delivering training programs both online and face to face.
•    Knowledge of adult learning principals and learning frameworks.
•    Excellent facilitation skills.
•    Experience managing an LMS and training record keeping.
•    Strong administrative and organisational skills.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
•    A passion for learning and development.
•    Change management experienced desirable.

Physical and Other Requirements

•    Global role with some out of hours calls required  
•    Able to comply with all relevant employment checks
•    Travel as required
