About the role


Key responsibilities include:

  • Design and deliver a short to medium term category activation plans within designated customers on our focus categories across range, merchandising and promotions.
  • Utilise the full suite of insight sources to identify the key drivers of category performance and highlight the risks and opportunities to our priority customers.
  • Provide insight, understanding and actions behind chosen segments of the Accolade Wine portfolio. 
  • Leads elements and is integral part of the creation and delivery of the organisation's category vision
  • Work with the Brand, Insight and Sales teams to create compelling category selling stories
  • Own the relationships on a day-to-day basis and be proactive at managing the needs and expectations of immediate internal and external customers
  • Insight and analysis – able to collect and shape insight into compelling customer centred category selling stories.
  • Build and Own customer relationships - demonstrate deep understanding of the needs of their customers at a strategic level and builds into short to medium term strategies
     

What you’ll bring:

 

  • Deep knowledge of the FMCG and distribution models. 
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve targets and meet challenging deadlines
  • Category development and/or Insights experience
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders, internally and externally to achieve goals. 
  • Excellent stakeholder management- we want someone with energy and passion that can bring others along the journey.
  • Hands on experience on digital marketing reporting. You can find insights buried within the data.
  • Experience in using planogram building software
  • Although not essential, knowledge of Microsoft Power BI is an added bonus
