About the Role


We have a newly created role for a Key Account Manager to join our team to drive market share and revenue growth for leading retailers in Korea, including CVS, hypermarkets, and supermarkets. Reporting to the Country Manager Sales for Korea, this role will drive the profitability of Accolade Wines through crafting impactful business agreements, fostering long-term relationships, and aligning with customer strategies to elevate our brand equity and market presence.

Your Key Accountabilities


  • Focus & implement market strategies & business plans to deliver Asia regional goals

  • Full penetration of distribution in retail channels in Korea (CVS, Hyper, Supermarkets etc)

  • Create and execute comprehensive customer JBP plans with targeted / potential key accounts and distributors

  • Ensure customers' & distributors' monthly depletion and inventory holding are in a healthy position

  • Take ownership of shipment forecast planning

  • Develop, manage, and leverage relevant trading initiatives and expenses so as to maximize sales and marketing opportunities within a fixed expense budget.

  • Work with distributors to execute local marketing activities in line with an agreed marketing plan

  • Emphasis is placed on high levels of customer service, industry & product knowledge & sales negotiation

  • The changing dynamics of the market require that this position be well-informed on key issues and developments across both this customer base and the industry

What you'll bring


As we are a lean organisation, you have a chance to make a genuine impact in this role, across the whole of the organisation. Experience includes: 

  • Experience in retail business (CVS, Hyper ideal)

  • Ability to build retail channel plans in collaboration with retailers and distributers

  • Strong planning & organisational skills

  • Strong communication & influencing skills

  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritise workload and projects

  • Strong business/financial acumen

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve targets & meet challenging deadlines

  • Strong strategic planning skills in order to develop initiatives (sales drivers) to achieve targeted results

  • Strong computer skills including Excel, Outlook, Word & Power point.

  • University degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing or Relevant Tertiary Qualifications highly regarded

  • Regular travel required to customers and possible different markets.
