Role Details
The Commercial Finance and FP&A Business Partner has responsibilities across accounting (IFRS and PRC), tax (specifically Chinese tax) and FP&A.
The role will support the China sales team through effective business partnering to ensure a timely and in depth understanding of business financial performance.
The incumbent will also business partner the finance managers of the SEA, NEA, China, Japan and South Asia regions and the Finance Director in the consolidation of month end results , monthly and quarterly forecasts and annual budgets.
Your Key Accountabilities
• Provide commercial finance decision support on the performance of the China Business Unit.
• Review, co-ordinate and deploy month end reporting , budget and forecast reporting for the China BU to ensure transparent and thorough Commercial Team understanding.
• Monthly Reporting to Corporate FP&A team, monthly Outlook to Asia management team, Monthly regional reporting, forecasts and annual budgets.
• Analyse and report on month end operating results – customer performance, brand ,marketing and SG&A to ensure that the commercial team receives timely and accurate results.
• Partner the team to provide clear insight and guidance to inform strategy.
• Prepare pricing analysis and insight on new customer, NPD and RTM proposals.
• Prepare timely, accurate and consistent analysis and reporting for customer value chain, debtors, pricing and trading terms matrices and trade and marketing spend profitability.
• Coordinate and assist with annual budget and forecast preparation.
• Prepare Executive Committee (EC), CFO and Business Performance Reviews (BPR’s) Packs.
• Prepare and load customer/SKU volumes, sales and spend rates for financial budgets and forecasts, ensuring Hyperion and SO&P volumes are aligned.
Other Accountabilities Include
• Co-ordinate and ensure alignment of all Infor Demand Plan and Finance Hyperion planning scenarios and versions for actuals, forecast, budget and rolling 18 months.
• Analyse and prepare volume, sales, and EBITDA bridges including price, volume and mix analysis, underpinned by supporting insights and commentary.
• Own and drive development of the China market pricing, trade spend and rebate matrix.

• Some understanding of local tax laws (CIT, VAT, Excise)
Essential Qualifications
• Masters Degree
• Commerce/Business Degree with Accounting Qualification
• Minimum 5+ years in a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst role in the FMCG industry.
Physical and Other Requirements
- This role is based in Singapore to support the China business.
- Possible intra-Asia ravel and after-hours conference calls
