We are now recruiting for a Commercial Manager, Wine in Can China to join our Asia team, who will lead our efforts to incubate and manage the China Wine in Can business to achieve the assigned business goals.

You can be based in our Shanghai offices, with flexibility to work from home.

This role is full-time and permanent.

Key responsibilities include:

•    Build, test and implement different go-to-market models and brand/product propositions, to derive a viable and sustainable model for our China Wine in Can business
•    Work with distributor / partner to establish and build partnership with key customers, and wholesalers in to implement market strategies & business plans to deliver goals.
•    Be ownership of shipment forecast planning. 
•    Conduct monthly reviews to track agreed performance objectives with distributors and for key customers; identifying where corrective action should take place.
•    Manage and drive customers and distributors partnerships to deliver Win, Win, Win outcomes.
•    Build annual marketing plan and design channel programs to achieve sales targets. Work with distributors to execute local marketing activities in line with agreed marketing plan.
•    Negotiate and drive business agreements/trading terms with key accounts aimed at achieving yearly budget and build brand equity. Ensure all proposals/business agreements/trading terms are signed off internally and with partners, before presenting to the customer. Within corporate guidelines, tailor dedicated discount and trade selling support for customers in line with growth opportunities and overall team objectives.
•    Communicate with key customers, wholesalers, and shoppers on merchandising, marketing collaterals, brand stories, samples, etc.
•    Track and drive in-market execution and compliance

What you’ll bring:

•    University degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing or Relevant Tertiary Qualifications.
•    A minimum of 10 years’ experience within Commercial.
•    Ideally accredited wine/alcoholic beverage/FMCG qualification.
•    Proactivity, excellent influential and organizational skills and a passion for wine
