Wine Show Coordinator

About The Role

We currently have a vacancy for a Wine Show Coordinator to manage wine show entries, exhibits and submissions for Australia and overseas wine competitions.
This role plays an integral part in ensuring Accolade Wines is represented on a global platform in wine shows and also assists the winemaking team with comparative tastings.

Your Key Accountabilities

•    Order and receive products that are required for Wine Shows and Functions
•    Assist Winemakers with obtaining competitor products and set up tastings
•    Order in stock required for museums post-bottling of Premium wines
•    To ensure that appropriate wines show entries are submitted for appropriate wine shows in a timely manner 
•    Work with Winemaking, Brand Managers and Marketing to organise relevant wines from Australian and overseas wine show schedule, label as per requirements, and send off accordingly within appropriate time frames
•    Advise Group Winemaking and Marketing of any issues with show entries or wine delivery
•    Ordering and retrieving products ex Warehouses, Cellar Doors and Museums as required in Wine Shows
•    Coordinate and facilitate stock inspection by auditors, if requested by wine show associations.
•    Tabulate Wine Show results and distribute to Group Winemaking and Marketing
•    Assist Winemakers to source wines ex bottle shops, museums and trade required for functions and VIP dinners
•    Tidy, clean and take responsibility of the tasting room, including Winemaking, Journalist and VIP tastings
•    Submit products to Wine Media as requested by Winemaking, Marketing and Brand
•    Coordinate Museum wine stock-take 
•    Archive relevant documentation
•    Housekeeping of Wine Show Room

About You

This role requires someone who has a high level of attention to detail and the ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with both internal and external customers.  Wine experience or technical knowledge is preferred and the successful candidate will be required to have a forklift licence.
