With employment opportunities that range from the vine to the glass, we currently have an opportunity for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our Finance team in our Adelaide CBD Office on a full-time basis.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Accounting, this role will deliver all aspects of Financial Accounting, including assisting with preparation of statutory financial statements, technical accounting positions 
and the review of general ledger reconciliations. 

About the role - Key responsibilities of the role include:

•    Preparation of annual statutory accounts for various reporting entities
•    Assist with statutory audits by managing PBC requests and follow up, as well as audit queries.
•    Preparation of technical accounting positions for review internally and by external auditors
•    Provide support to Corporate Finance team in relation to all IFRS16 related queries.
•    Engage with stakeholders from an accounting perspective in the implementation and upgrade of existing and new IT infrastructure.
•    General ledger account reconciliations (preparation and review).
•    Assist with internal controls testing for the Corporate Finance Team.
•    Assist with maintenance of Policies, Procedures and Control Narratives for Corporate Finance Team.
•    Provide back up to other members of the Corporate Accounting team.
•    Other accounting/record keeping as required.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will possess:
•    CA or CPA qualified.
•    5-7 years’ experience in Financial Accounting and Reporting roles.
•    Experience preparing statutory accounts and disclosures.
•    Bachelor of Commerce or similar accounting degree.   
•    Experience using ERP system, JDE desirable.
