About the role

We are now recruiting for a Quality Officer to join our Quality team.  This role plays an integral part in the coordination and implementation of the Quality and Food Safety Systems, to achieve compliance with internal policies, operational standards and statutory obligations.  You will be responsible for supporting the Quality team and assist with maintaining ISO9001 and HACCP accreditations, plus production audits. 

You will be based at Hardys Tintara Winery, on the main street of McLaren Vale.

This role is full-time and permanent.

Key responsibilities include:

•    Review and maintain Quality & Food Safety programs and procedures to align with Australian and internal standards.
•    Introduce best practices and improvements to the Quality & Food Safety Framework and processes.
•    Detect potential or actual Quality & Food Safety non-conformances, assess significance and recommend corrective or preventative action.
•    Conduct site internal audit/QA testing program and participate in site audits.
•    Contribute to the site Quality and Food Safety Risk Register.

What you’ll bring:

•    Working knowledge of Quality, Food Safety and HACCP systems 
•    Document Management Skills.
•    Auditing experience.
•    Science / Technical Qualification.  
•    Excellent communication skills and a passion for wine!
