About the role

We are now recruiting for a Quality Technician to join our Supply Chain and Operations team on an 18-month fixed term contract. In this role you will deliver a range of Quality Control services and technical support to the site. You will be required to continuously challenge, innovate and improve the department performance through the continuation of the lean culture and operational philosophy.


You will be part of a team responsible for quality standards and testing of the bulk wine and packaged products ensuring expected microbiological and organoleptic levels are achieved.


You will be based at our bottling site in Avonmouth, Bristol.

Key responsibilities include:

•    Support Quality Control/Assurance in all aspects including reporting and generation of COA,GMP & internal system audits, hygiene inspections and NCR investigations 
•    Support and develop application of internal quality systems
•    Actively engage in NPD processes
•    Raise non-conformance reports and lead corrective actions to completion
•    Lead improvement projects in relation to quality implementing plans
•    Produce reports for proficiency schemes and implement appropriate corrective actions
 

What you’ll bring:

•    Experience in a laboratory environment, preferably in a food/beverage production company
•    Experience of FCMG business preferably in a technical or quality function
•    Ideally you will have a degree in scientific or food related discipline 
•    Understanding of JDE systems
