We are now recruiting for a Shopper Marketing Manager to join our ANZ Team supporting Coles and On Premise Group. This role is responsible for engaging and exciting shoppers with market leading insight-led activations on the path to purchase. You will lead, build and deliver Liquorland, and on premise activations in line with annual commercial plans and budgets, optimising investment and positively impacting our brands.  

This role is Melbourne based.

This role is full-time and permanent.

Key responsibilities include

•    Annual Coles and on Premise shopper activation plans – collaborate with category, marketing, sales and finance leads to recommend the optimal annual shopper marketing strategy. Generate an activity calendar and proposed budget for Liquorland and on premise aligned to their shoppers and key imperatives in line with the Accolade business strategy and annual planning process timeline.
•    Channel activation plans delivered on time, on budget and on expectation - lead and deliver beginning to end multi-channel campaigns within Coles that span the entire shopper journey and are based on shopper insights. Drive behaviour change that positively impacts consumption of Accolade Wines brands. 
•    Market & channel profitability – activations designed on clear and measurable objectives with meaningful budgets to ensure positive return on investment for the customer and Accolade Wines.
•    Post activation evaluation & timely reporting – track results of in store marketing campaigns amending as required to ensure the best outcome. Provide post promotional evaluation reporting learnings and future recommendations in line with business planning rhythms.
•    Positive perception created around shopper marketing adding value and strategy -unrelenting customer and market understanding and persistently seeking innovative solutions. Build strong sustainable business relationships throughout Accolade Wines and Coles.

What you'll bring

•    University degree in business, marketing or related discipline desired
•    Wine knowledge & passion preferred
•    ideally 5 years’ experience in FMCG (wine/liquor preference) / FMCG with at least 3 of these years in BTL marketing 
•    Managing internal and external senior stakeholders
•    Experience in driving recommendations and influencing for results
•    Demonstrable experience in operational and creative development of Below the Line programs 
•    Experienced data interpretation and understanding shopper motivations
•    Advanced Powerpoint skills
•    Out of the box thinking!
