The Role

 

We are now searching for a Senior Analyst (Allocations and FP&A) to lead the Global Allocations Process, balancing unconstrained demand with supply to maximise profitability on our scarce resources which is aligned to our strategic plans. The Senior Analyst (Allocations and FP&A) will be responsible for the reconciling and the allocation of our wine portfolio supply to support overall business and Global Brand Strategy requirements. This will involve analysis of sales volume and profit performance to deliver against strategic objectives, as well as maximizing profitability.

 

Reporting into the FP&A  & Global Marketing Finance Director, this position will be based in Melbourne and will work closely with Commercial and Finance teams and will act as FP&A Business Partner for various segments/functions of the business, providing support for the global reporting and planning cycles.

 

This is a full time, permanent position.

Role Responsibilities

 

· Lead the Annual Global Allocations Process - balancing unconstrained demand with supply to maximise profitability on our scarce resources, aligned to our strategic plans.

For relevant Premium wines:

· Manage the vintage release, planning & production/packaging strategy in co-ordination with the Supply Planning, Winemaking & Global Brands Teams

· Ensure regular communication across the business and key stakeholders with regards to allocations, availability & timings

· Management & coordination of back vintages as required

· Setting strategic pricing guidelines across each region

What You'll Bring

 

· Minimum 5 years accounting / financial management experience

· Demonstrated strategic financial decision making

· Commercial analytics, decision support or business strategy experience – preferably in FMCG

· Degree level education

· CA / CPA qualified
