About the role
We are now recruiting for a National Account Executive (NAE) to join the Coles Liquor sales team. This integral role supports team delivery of financial goals whilst developing & nurturing long term customer relationships.
This is a great opportunity to build on your Accolade experience and will allow an abundance of customer interaction to develop your skills toward an Account Management career in the future.
AS NAE you’ll engage with internal stakeholders from supply, finance, category, and brand, as well as customers at Liqourland, Vintage Cellars & First Choice – their online arms, commercial, and supply teams.
This is a permanent role based in Melbourne.
What you'll do
- Manage the promotional program (including slotting & submission for Coles Liquor)
- Manage Trade Spend - ensuring all agreed promotions accrued & entered within the relevant business systems & approved by required stakeholders
- Volume Forecasting – communicating the most accurate forecast of promotional assumptions to key stakeholders within the business.
- Business performance tracking & reporting – focus on both internal & external KPI’s (RSV, market share, Net Revenue & Profit)
- Attend Fortnightly/Monthly customer WIP’s
- New Line form management
- Manage the sample process – ensuring correct samples are provided during the range review process
- Assisting other functions with information that may be required about the Coles liquor group (ranging/distribution information, executions plans etc).
- Assistance in timely management of any Quality Assurance complaints or consumer feedback
What you'll bring
By nature you’ll be a spreadsheet superhero, organised and process driven, with excellent attention to detail and proactive stakeholder engagement skills. You’ll also have:
- 1-2 years experience in a National Account Executive or Business Development Manager position
- Strong interpersonal skills to be able to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders across multiple functions and levels within the business
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a changing environment – due to Wine being an agriculturally based business there can often be changes not within your control.
- Capability to work at pace to ensure any opportunities that arise from the retailer are capitalised & assist with the business’s growth ambitions.
- Understanding of Aztec & Coles Synergy data bases (highly advantageous)
- Previous interactions with Coles/Coles liquor/Woolworths/Endeavour Group (advantageous)
- Confidence developing & presenting internal & external presentations (using PowerPoint)
- Financial Acumen – ideally supported with a Degree in Business, Finance, or related field
