We are now recruiting for a Senior Analyst to join our global Finance team. This position is working within our Supply Chain Finance team, reporting to our Global Inventory & Strategic Sourcing, Senior Finance Manager. In this role you will be focused on supply inventory on a global scale, partnering with key stakeholders to provide analytical support in ensuring wine inventory positions are optimised, balancing risk and supporting future growth. 

You will be based in our Melbourne office, with flexibility up to three days working from home.

This role is full-time and permanent.

Key responsibilities include:

•    Partner with key stakeholders on the delivery of the Global Supply Chain CAPEX budget in full and on time; and provide analytical support for ensuring capital allocation decisions are maximised across the global supply chain
•    Support in tracking the value creation pipeline; ideation, quantification and execution across grape and bulk wine sourcing 
•    Provide analytical support to ensure AW’s global inventory position is balanced, and risks articulated with regards to future supply and demand positions
•    Delivering timely and accurate monthly management reporting, including future focused insights, global cash flow, inventory forecasting
•    Building accurate forecasts and annual plan financials 

What you’ll bring:

•    Strong analytical and numerical skills, with proficiency in Excel 
•    Experience working in a similar Senior Analyst position, ideally with experience in the FMCG industry
•    Autonomy and the flexibility to execute on strategy as well as deliver excellent hands-on work
•    Strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
•    University Degree in Accounting or related discipline
•    Professional Accounting qualification
•    Proactivity, excellent organisational skills and a passion for wine!
