  • Work with a ‘hands on approach’ to creating our premium wines
  • Prepare work orders within specifications
  • Participate in daily ferment tastings
  • Oversee daily grape intake and processing
  • Ensure compliance with wine specifications
  • Drive exceptional levels of winery hygiene and general housekeeping.

About You

You have:

  • A passion for wine and winemaking
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Enthusiasm, reliability and energy
  • A working knowledge of winery systems
  • Well-developed sensory skills

Experience working as an Assistant Winemaker is highly desirable, as is a forklift licence. Exposure to premium cool-climate wine production and wine show stewarding, judging and/or committee representation are both desirable.

You must be flexible to work up to 12 hours per day, six days per week across a seven-day roster, including afternoon and/or night work.

What You Can Expect

In addition to your salary, you'll receive a wine allowance that you can use to purchase our amazing wines at discounted prices, plus you'll have access to a range of benefits including our new rewards platform. You'll work with a great bunch of people and have fun along the way.

Our assessment process includes an interview, reference checks, a working rights check and a medical questionnaire, and may include further fitness assessments including drug and alcohol screening. We want to ensure that you are kept safe and healthy at work.
