We are now recruiting for a Process & Utilities Engineer to join our team of multi-disciplined Engineers. You will be required to maintain the utilities and process plant with full ownership and accountability for product quality, whilst encompassing all aspects of plant improvements.

This role is based at The Park in Avonmouth. Our production team operate on an annualised shift pattern (working days and nights: 7am-7pm/ 7pm-7am).

This role is full-time and permanent.

Key responsibilities include:

•    Operate assigned equipment and plant ensuring optimum performance is achieved.
•    Own quality standards and testing of the product produced on the plant ensuring optimum levels are achieved.
•    Identify and rectify root causes of the plant failure, encompassing all aspects of maintenance activities and machine improvements including steam boilers, air compressors, refrigeration & CIP
•    Ensure that the critical plant settings are maintained and serviced, to continually improve plant efficiency and business processes
•    Ensure all levels of safety within the department are monitored and maintained to a high standard and ensure safety standards are adhered to 
•    Complete training of the plant and operational processes to both new and current employees.

What you’ll bring:

•    You will be a multi skilled electro mechanical engineer
•    Conversant with modern control systems ideally using HMI & PLC 
•    5+ years maintenance experience 
•    Experience in maintaining utilities plant 
•    Preferably NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance or recognised engineering apprenticeship
