We are now recruiting for a Business Development Manager – Distributors and Global Travel Retail to join our Hong Kong sales team. In this role you will be required to manage our current business with our distributor partners, while simultaneously seeking new opportunities across the Hong Kong Market. 

You can be based in our Hong Kong office, but will be required to travel to Off- and On-Trade outlets.

This role is full-time and permanent.

Key responsibilities include:

•    Being the primary contact for our existing Distributor partners, and managing our Distributor accounts to grow the availability of Accolade Wines’ Brands in the Hong Kong Market (growing AW Sales & Profit).
•    Developing plans and strategies to grow distribution and availability, with a focus on On Trade and Wholesale (Hotels, Clubs, Restaurants, Catering), and Global Travel Retail.
•    Working with our Trade Marketing Manager to develop plans and trade programs to raise our brand awareness and equity in the On Trade area.
•    Leading events, brand education and customer engagement.
•    Creating engaging presentations and pitching new wine Brands to existing and new Distributor partners.
•    Maintaining solid relationships with key customers contacts, preparing & presenting results of marketing initiatives to our Distributor partners.
•    Consolidating and tracking depletions to analyse performance and make recommendations.
•    Managing demand forecasting (internal) and shipment plan (external).

What you’ll bring:

•    5+ years’ experience as a Business Development Manager or Key Account Manager with experience in Wine or On Trade learning strongly preferred 
•    Strong written and verbal English skills; Cantonese (preferred) 
•    Strong commercial acumen and interpersonal skills 
•    Wine knowledge & passion, WSET qualification or equivalent preferred
•    Demonstrated ability to achieve targets and meet challenging deadlines 
•    Ability to build productive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
