We are now recruiting for a Trade Marketing Manager – Hong Kong to join our North East Asia Team. This role is crucial to the planning, execution, and review of all trade marketing activity in Hong Kong. The TMM will take a central role in the planning process - collaborating with Brand and Commercial to develop Channel and Customer plans that will develop and build our Brands to unlock growth. Working internally & externally to deliver category leading activation (from in store to online) will be a key focus, as well as rigorous review of budget, spend and ROI.

This role is full-time and permanent.

Key responsibilities include:

•    Driving the planning process between regional/global brand, category development and sales
•    Leveraging shopper insights to effectively plan and evaluate trade marketing activities
•    Effectively support the sell in & launch of innovation to drive incremental and margin accretive volume
•    Helping improve distribution across priority brands / SKUs
•    Delivering a sustained increase in Accolade’s presence across the sector, including winning at shelf and driving feature and display
•    Managing and optimising A&P investment across the sector to drive results, with accountability for delivering YOY increases in A&P effectiveness.
•    Supporting key customer engagement & meetings, to deepen and broaden our customer relationships across different departments. 
•    Align Customer and Brand teams on briefs for customer marketing initiatives.
•    Work closely with the appointed Creative Agencies on specific marketing projects.
•    Lead PR and Press events in market.
 

What you'll bring:

•    Commercial acumen – has a clear understanding of the impact of actions on revenue and profit and can build plans accordingly for monthly, quarterly and annual targets
•    Planning, project management and organisational skills – develop templates and reports to communicate and monitor progress on key initiatives. Develop clear project briefs and manage agencies to deliver specified outcomes.
•    Build customer relationships - demonstrate deep understanding of the needs of their customers at a strategic level and build into short to medium term strategies and identify opportunities to grow the business. Translate this into action and align the broader marketing and sales communities 
•    Insight and analysis – able to collect and shape insight into compelling customer centred selling stories. 
•    Communications and influencing – present and persuade in both written and verbal forms to internal and external stakeholders
•    Cross functional team working – work as part of a team to achieve shared team and company goals
•    Creative problem solver - demonstrates an openness to new ideas and others perspective or views specifically from broader business and peers
•    IT and digital skills – competent in Microsoft Office and JD Edwards (desirable) plus appreciation of digital marketing opportunities and the potential of e-commerce
•    Autonomy and the flexibility to execute on strategy as well as deliver excellent hands-on work
•    Proactivity, excellent organisational skills and a passion for wine!
