We are now recruiting for a Global Wine and Grape Planner to join our Supply Chain and Operations Team.  In this role, you will manage Wine Country of Origin requirement plans and recommendations for all Commercial Regions (including the Bulk Wine Trading Business Unit).  This includes, reconciling the monthly planning cycle and escalating imbalances with recommendations for resolution to minimize customer impact.  You will work closely with the Net Revenue Management team to assess profitability and strategic alignment.

You will be based in our Adelaide CBD office, with flexibility to work from home.

This role is full-time and permanent.

Key responsibilities include:

•    Annual Global Allocations Process, including balancing demand with supply to maximise profitability on resources.
•    Long Term Forecast review process for Wine & Grape requirement with inputs from Winemaking, Viticulture, Commercial, Brands, Operations and Finance Teams. 
•    Provide Viticulture with significant support & real time analysis against demand.  Incorporating Vintage Planning, Scenario Planning, Grape Optimisation linked to Wine Blend, SKU rationalisation, changes to demand and balancing long/short positions.
•    Modelling best outcomes for Grapes versus Bulk Wine and developing a Sourcing Strategy.
•    Lead the issue for resolution process on wine long and short positions.
•    Minimise obsolescence risks with forecast vintage rolls.

What you’ll bring:

•    A minimum of 5 years supply and manufacturing or related experience in a packaging or drinks related industry.
•    Experience of Advanced Planning Systems & ideally JDE and Infor Advanced Planner.
•    Business Acumen and advanced analysis skills.
•    Demonstrable experience across S&OP and planning functions.
•    A collaborative style and a passion for wine!
