National Account Executive, On Trade

Salary up to £30,000 per annum dependent on experience plus excellent benefits and staff wine allowance.

About the role and location

We have an opportunity for a National Account Executive to join our On Trade Sales Team. This role is field based. The successful applicant will be required to develop and support profitable sales and distribution of AW products within new and existing customers within Matthew Clark operation – South West region and Midlands. They will network internally and externally to further develop business and dominate at point of purchase across the On-Trade.

About the role – Key Accountabilities
  • Achieve in excess of Region budgeted volume and STGP
  • Motivate internal and external contacts to exceed profit and distribution targets
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with external and internal contacts
  • Identify trends and business development opportunities
  • Deliver NPD
  • Develop a trading strategy and plan of execution for all Top 100 accounts within RBU
  • Work with supply chain to ensure any opportunities seized are not to the detriment of the broader team.
  • All investment attached to a contract and any monies paid out dealt with promptly and with an audit trail.
  • Understand the business environment within the each of the major conurbations/rural economy of the Region.
  • Grow new business / profit streams with a key focus around multiple operating groups

You will also have the flexibility to work out of office hours to accommodate the occasional call with our Australian colleagues and have the ability to travel to our Head Office in Weybridge or  our Accolade Park site near Bristol,  if required.
