About the role:

We are looking for a customer centric and dynamic sales person to join our high-performing NSW Field Sales Team as a Business Development Manager, managing the bustling CBD & Eastern Suburbs Territory.

 

You'll be responsible for the availability and activation of our diverse portfolio of wine and sparkling within the independents channel across on-premise, hybrid, and retail customer accounts.  

 

The majority of your focus will be working with venue manager and sommeliers, building relationships and sharing your wine knowledge with restaurant and bar staff.

 

This varied full-time job, offers you flexibility to manage your time, own your customer relationships and thrive in a supportive team environment.

Your day to day will include:

  • Developing and maintaining routing, call cycle & coverage for your designated territory
  • Identifying opportunities & winning new business predominantly with on-premise customers
  • Driving our range, visibility, and availability across all new & existing customers
  • Ensuring presence of our range across Key Accounts
  • Understanding category and shopper insights to educate your customers and implement key strategies 
  • Negotiating directly with key business and decision makers - both on and off premise 
  • Formulating & executing development plans in conjunction with the Sales Manager 

 

What you'll bring:

  • Previous experience in either field sales or in a wine related hospitality role 
  • Demonstrated ability & motivation to achieve targets and meet deadlines
  • Passionate, professional, responsible approach, with a genuine and can-do attitude!
  • Commercial and business acumen
  • Stellar negotiation and influencing skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and a passion for wine!
  • Current NSW drivers license
