About the role

Due to an internal restructure, we are now recruiting for a Senior Payroll Officer to join our global People & Communications team. You will report to the Global Payroll and HR Systems Manager and be responsible for the end to end processing of UK Payroll and our four European payrolls that are outsourced. You will also be the main point of contact in the UK for our benefits and any other upcoming key projects. 

As the Senior Payroll Officer you will play a pivotal role in improving and modernising our Global Payroll and HR Systems, as well as streamlining our day to day. You will be based in our Bristol office, with flexibility to work from home. We will consider fully remote applicants. 

This role is full-time and permanent

Key responsibilities include:

•    Management of end to end processing of the UK payroll, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.
•    Ensuring all legislative compliance activities are undertaken including statutory returns
•    Responsible for managing the outsourced European payroll provider (ADP), ensuring adherence to SLA’s, on time payment processing, accurate filing, and payment of third-party payments
•    Day to day local benefit contact including holiday trading, cycle to work and private healthcare 
•    Embedding the new pension provider into the business

What you’ll bring (Essential):

•    3-5 years’ experience in a payroll officer role
•    High degree of numeracy skills
•    High degree of Microsoft Excel skills
•    Financially astute
•    Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
•    Self-motivated and ambitious 
•    Working with Zellis (NGA) ResourceLink payroll software & Kronos Workforce Management
•    CIPP (or equivalent) qualified/working towards
