About the role and location

We have a new opportunity for a Operations Operative to join our Production team  at The Park site close to the M5 near Bristol on a 9 month fixed term contract.  
Working hours- annualised shift pattern (days & nights) 

About the role – Key Accountabilities

  • Accountable for the efficient and safe operation of material stores, Goods In and End of Line
  • Operate all MHE, Mobicon, counterbalance Reach truck & VNA on a full rotational basis
  • Operate IT systems relevant to job role
  • Accountable as part of the team for the restitution of bags from containers and recycling of all waste materials onsite
  • Operate FLT’s and IT systems to ensure optimum performance is achieved
  • Proactively operate within a lean philosophy ensuring continuous improvements across all areas of business processes are achieved
  • Enter relevant data into business system interfaces (JDE, MIS, Red Prairie etc)
  • Actively investigate & resolve line side issues
  • Ensure safety levels and working practices are understood and adhered to
  • To be fully trained on at least one piece of production line equipment
  • Work within the framework of agreed team principles, fully supporting and working towards the achievement of the team objectives
  • To be competent and able to provide training of operational processes to both new and current employees
  • To actively engage with shift manager, and other employees regarding SOP generation and review
  • Perform daily asset care requirements of the production line
  • Actively support Technician to ensure that all tasks are completes and ensure smooth running of the operation

About you

You will have rrelevant experience within an operational role within a Warehouse, End of Line or packaging environment.  You will hold a fork-lift truck licence and have a GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English.
