About ‘The Park’

Accolade Wines’ UK manufacturing facility ‘The Park’ is a multi-award winning bottling facility, employing almost 400 people and producing 25 million 9L case equivalents of wine each year. Our state of the art manufacturing and blending plant has the ability to package an extensive range of formats, from 187ml to 1.5L in glass bottles, plastic bottles, cans and bag in box, through to 1.5L to 10L casks.  With six packaging lines and the capacity to produce 1,200 bottles of wine every minute, The Park is also home to the largest wine warehouse and distribution centre in Europe (80,000m²). 

About the role

We are now recruiting for a Production Line Engineer to join our Supply Chain and Operations team at The Park in Avonmouth, Bristol.

You will be part of a fast-paced Production team with full ownership and responsibility of delivering line performance at The Park. You will have great exposure to the business where key achievements are recognised and be given the opportunity to get involved in future key production and/or packaging projects that arise. 

We are looking for an Engineer with a passion for production and/or packaging who is knowledgeable, a team player and keen to take ownership. Experience/knowledge in electrical engineering is highly advantageous! 

Our Operations team operate on an annualised pattern working days and nights.

This role is full-time and permanent

Key responsibilities include:

•    Responsible for fault finding and rectifying root causes of issues within complex equipment and machinery
•    Full ownership of production line maintenance, breakdowns and machine improvements including overhauls
•    Responsible for all quality standards and testing of the products produced on the line ensuring optimum levels are achieved 
•    Ensure that the critical machine settings are maintained and serviced, to continually improve line efficiency and improvements to plant and business processes
•    Use and update business system interfaces (JDE, MIS, Red Prairie etc.)

What you’ll bring:

•    Experience working in an FMCG or packaging organisation 
•    Comfortable working in high speed environments
•    NVQ Level 3- Engineering 
•    Willingness to learn and work effectively as part of a team
