We have a full time, 12-month fixed term contract opportunity for an Inventory Controller to join our Customer Service Team in Bristol.  Reporting to the Head of Customer Service, you will be required to monitor, reduce and correct inventory errors and costs to the business by ensuring a high degree of accuracy in stock control.

Key responsibilities:

•  To lead and own the PI schedule that covers the entire warehouse.
• To investigate and clear any discrepancies on the reconciliation report between JDA Red Prairie and JDE.
• Agree and action suspense file entries.
• Liaise with Manufacturing regarding issues with stock received from the Production Lines.
• Identify and action accordingly short dated stock.
• Reduce and monitor obsolescence stock.
• Investigate and clear despatch errors.
• Ensure that stock control procedures are adhered to.

What you'll bring:

• 2+ years’ experience in stock control.
• An understanding of Lean principles. 
• Strong understanding of stock control systems within warehousing.
• Able to understand and comply with our HMR&C obligations.
• Strong understanding of health and safety understanding and compliance.
