About the role
We are now recruiting for an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our Global IT Team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant global service desk team dedicated to providing our business with world class IT and Customer Service. With our continuous improvement programme you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to changing and improving the ways in which we work, and really make a difference to our end to end user experience.
You will be based on-site at The Park in Avonmouth initially, before moving to our new office in Central Bristol, with flexibility to work from home, as we offer a Hybrid working pattern.
This role is full-time and offered as a 6-month fixed term contract, with the possibility of an extension.
Key responsibilities
- Providing software support for all desktop applications utilised by the company including remote support
- Providing hardware support for PC’s, Laptops, Printers
- Ensuring service management system is appropriately maintained
- Install desktop/mail software, and support associated technologies
- Keep and maintain knowledge base of previous faults to act as a reference for future issues
- Contribute to Major incident management process
- Support users onsite
- Participate in Service Desk improvement projects
What you’ll bring:
- Experience in support and the maintenance of PC, Laptops and Printers
- Experience in network technologies, AD and operating systems
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Flexibility and adaptability when working with ambiguous situations
- The ability and willingness to contribute to support tasks
- Proactivity, strong attention to detail and a passion for wine!
