We are now recruiting for a Credit Control Specialist to join our Global Finance team. Reporting into the Global Accounts Receivable Lead. You will be working as part of a tight knit team as the in-country specialist, providing support for the off-shore team through a combination of critical local knowledge and hands on issue resolution. 

You will be based in either our Bristol or Weybridge office, with flexibility to work from home.

This role is full-time and permanent.

Key responsibilities include:

•    Taking the lead on managing internal and external stakeholders within the region.
•    Working with sales teams and customers to develop a business partnering approach to the management of cash collections. 
•    Exporting collection activities and customer statement reconciliations for circa 60 countries.
•    Preparation of supporting materials for the approval of write offs and bad debt. 
•    Participation in the development of strategic processes, acting as the expert on regional nuances.

What you’ll bring:

•    Experience within a fast-paced, high volume environment with a clear focus and understanding of the end to end credit control process.
•    Strong demonstrated understanding of sales ledger and credit risk management.
•    A professional accounting qualification and 2+ years of hands on experience, preferably in accounts receivable.
•    Autonomy and the flexibility to execute on strategy as well as deliver excellent hands-on work.
•    Excellent communication skills with the ability to build lasting trust-based relationships.
•    Experience of JDE or SAP would be beneficial.
•    Proactivity, strong attention to detail and a passion for wine!
