We have an exciting opportunity for a Shopper Marketing Executive to join the Marketing Team in our Botany office. Reporting to the Shopper Marketing Manager, this role is responsible for shopper marketing across our portfolio of great alcohol brands.
 

About the role

Reporting to the Shopper Marketing Manager, this role is responsible for assisting the Manager for Independent On & Off Premise Channels in implementing Accolade’s Shopper Marketing Strategy. You will work closely with the Sales & Brand teams to plan, deliver and evaluate Shopper Marketing Activation in the Independent & On Premise Channels. You will assist in ensuring all Activations are executed in line with Shopper Marketing Plan and within agreed budgets, that they optimise investment for the business, and positively impact on our brands. Other key responsibilities will include:


•    Develop insights-based shopper strategies and solutions
•    Support in the delivery of customer centric shopper marketing plans, incorporating excellent activation of brand events and retailer loyalty driving levers
•    Execute shopper marketing activations and programs
•    Develop sustainable and strong partnerships with key customers by providing strategic recommendations that promote total Category & Brand growth
•    Track results during and after in store marketing campaigns amending as required
•    Assist in post promotional evaluation, reporting learnings and future recommendations
•    Assist in providing BTL Activity input for cycle meetings and presenting when required
 

About you

To be successful in this role you will be a passionate Shopper Marketer who is a team player with a “can do attitude” and an ability to work independently. Experience working in the liquor industry would be highly regarded. You have previous experience in Shopper Marketing and can work with cross-functional teams (internal and external) to deliver results. Other key skills we will be looking for are:


•    Ability to balance several conflicting priorities at once through strong organisational, planning, problem-solving, and stakeholder management. 
•    Strong attention to detail is going to be crucial in all elements associated with this role
•    Strong communication skills and the ability to work confidently with people internally & externally
•    Flexible and confident working in a fast-paced environment
•    Excellent MS Office skills
•    Approximately 1-2 years’ experience in an entry level Marketing role in FMCG (wine/liquor preference)
•    University degree in business, marketing or related discipline
