We have an exciting  opportunity for a Digital Communications Executive to join our Marketing Team in our Botany office.  This role will provide public relations and digital communications support to the Digital Marketing Manager and will be responsible for enhancing brand image for Accolade Wines’ portfolio.

About the role
  • Support the Digital Marketing Manager with the implementation of communications and social/digital strategies to engage media, influencers and consumers, grow audiences, brand awareness, consumer affinity and generate positive sentiment across the Australian and New Zealand portfolio. 
  • Assist in gathering digital insights data, monitor online conversations and coverage, and investigate existing communications and social media trends and strategies.
  • Effectively manage digital channels to build and maintain online communities
  • Assist with the development of social media content , media marketing strategies , non-campaign activities and community management
  • Manage monthly and quarterly media coverage tracking and complete project evaluation updates as required
  • Drive the ‘Always On’ editorial calendar to deliver strong media results that profile winemakers, cellar door events, brand news, wine award wins and category stories
  • Manage media submission call outs and wine awards hub database
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key media, influencers and suppliers
  • Monitor media and influencer landscape and keep media contact databases up to date
  • Prepare and execute communication materials (media releases, trade and consumer), key messages, reactive media materials, Qs & As
  • Grow and maintain PR database
  • Assist with event management 
  • Distribute product to key external stakeholders
About you
  • Be passionate about social media and have an understanding of its role in brand management.
  • Possess a relevant tertiary qualification in media communications, journalism or PR.
  • You will be proficient in technical forecasting and reporting tools and will have a strong ability to use MS Office suite. 
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisation and time management skills.
  • Ideally you will be looking for a career in public relations or digital management.
  • You will have great communications skill- written as well as oral.
  • Experience in an agency or an in-house role working across FMCG, consumer brands would be an advantage.
