Role Details

You will be required to

• Carry out the day-to day tasks of assessing grower patches for disease and quality as directed by the Technical Viticultural officer
• Collect berry samples from each assessed patch to determine the berry weight as part of the assessment

Your Key Accountabilities

• Collect and enter field data on the motion tablets for each patch for the growers selected by the Viticultural Technical Officer.
• Collect grape samples to determine Baume results as directed by the Viticultural Technical Officer.
•  Maintain cleanliness of the hire car/company car

Other Accountabilities Include

• Undertake any other tasks or responsibilities that may from time to time be requested by the Viticultural Technical Officer or Regional Viticultural Manager.

Your Knowledge and Skills

• Viticultural or horticultural background is preferred.
• Knowledge of the region and grape varieties
• Competent with the use of Computers 
• Drivers Licence
