The Berri Estates Winery is the largest grape processing winery in the Southern Hemisphere, crushing hundreds of thousands of tonnes each vintage. Key responsibilities

 

Our Vintage Cellar Hands operate a variety of plant and machinery to begin the winemaking process, some of the tasks you may be involved in, include;

 

  • Crusher Operations
  • Pressing (bags, screw, and drainers)
  • Fermentation
  • Filtering (RDV operation, Crossflows, Centrifuges)
  • Transfers and additions
     

What you’ll bring

 

Whether you are a school leaver, on a working holiday or returning for another vintage this role could be for you if you have;

 

Essential;

  • Full working rights – visa holders included
  • Good communication
  • Literacy and numeracy skills
  • Ability to work rotating shift work (including some weekends)

 

Desirable;

  • Previous wine industry experience
  • Forklift Licence
  • Confined space ticket
