Role Details

The Berri Estates Winery is the largest grape processing winery in the Southern Hemisphere, crushing hundreds of thousands of tonnes each vintage. Your Key Accountabilities

• Our Vintage Cellar Hands operate a variety of plant and machinery to begin the winemaking process, some of the tasks you may be involved in include;

  • Crusher Operations
  • Pressing (bags, screw, and drainers)
  • Fermentation
  • Filtering (RDV operation, Crossflows, Centrifuges)
  • Transfers and additions

Your Knowledge and Skills

Essential;

• Full working rights – visa holders included
• Good communication
• Literacy and numeracy skills
• Ability to work rotating shift work (possible weekends also)

Desirable;

• Previous wine industry experience
• Forklift Licence
• Confined space ticket
