Role Details

We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Regional Cellar Door Manager to join our team in the Riverland, South Australia. Based predominantly at our world class Banrock Station site and also managing our retail site at Berri, you will play a pivotal role in creating memorable experiences for our guests, promoting our exceptional wines, and enhancing the overall visitor experience.

Your Key Accountabilities

• Execute sales strategies and manage discretionary marketing and pricing to achieve assigned financial targets
• Grow the wine club membership of engaged wine consumers, in conjunction with the Digital Marketing team
• Manage budgeted operating expenses, trading costs, samples costs and stock holdings to agreed levels
• Recruit, train and provide ongoing development for cellar door staff, and ensure compliance with employment legislation
• Ensure safe systems of work are developed, documented and followed
• Be an active member of local industry groups and community organisations 

Banrock Station

• Demonstrate passion for Banrock Station Wine and Wetland centre, their wines, their region and their people, and act as a Brand Ambassador
• Ensure all staff demonstrate the highest standards of customer service excellence, providing a unique, eco-tourism and informative experience to every guest visiting the award- winning Banrock Station Wine and Wetland centre 
• Manage daily operations for the Banrock Station Wine and Wetland Centre including Kitchen, Restaurant, Functions & Tours
• Raise the tourism profile of Banrock Station and leverage the wetlands as a revenue opportunity 

Berri Cellar Door

• Demonstrate passion for all of Accolade Wines brands and represent them as a brand ambassador to both staff and public through the Berri cellar door.
• Ensure all staff demonstrate the highest standards of customer service excellence, providing an informative experience to everyone visiting the Berri cellar door
   

What you bring

• 3+ years’ experience managing a cellar door, hospitality venue, restaurant or event/tourism facility, including management of financial performance, people and facilities.
• Experience managing a large team
• Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills
• Good interpersonal skills working within your team and across the business
• Passion for all things wine!
