About the role
An opportunity for a Human Resources Generalist has become available to work in our Supply Chain and Operations team. Reporting to the Senior Human Resources Business Partner, you will provide advice and support to a range of stakeholders on people related matters at our world class production facility – Berri Estates.
As an established HR generalist, you’ll be confident managing incident investigations, employee performance, attendance and engagement, recruitment, classification structures, training and progression, and special projects.
This role will be based on-site at Berri Estates 2-3 days per week, with the ability to work from home on other days. Part time applicants will be considered (ideally 3-4 days per week).
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering key HR initiatives and providing guidance to employees and managers on all aspects of the employee lifecycle including; workforce planning, recruitment and selection, induction, performance management, talent management, employee relations, pay and reward, engagement and wellbeing.
- Assist with incident investigations and subsequent performance management activities
- Fostering strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the business
- Proactively managing and successfully delivering cross functional projects, including engagement, effective communication and up skilling activities.
- Supporting annual Performance Cycle including relevant training/coaching, communication, follow up, analysis and reporting, calibration
- Support the initiatives that enhance employee wellbeing, improve overall performance and make Accolade Wines an employer of choice
- Supporting analytics review across reward & recognition, recruitment and business priorities.
What you'll bring
You will be proactive and personable in your approach, confident communicating with employees and stakeholders at all levels and committed to support the requirements of the business.
You’ll also be able to demonstrate:
- Minimum 3-4 yrs generalist HR experience
- Experience supporting the management & resolution of performance issues
- Experience managing incident investigations
- Sound working knowledge of Australian employment legislation and Awards / EA’s
- Experience in drafting effective communications by understanding audience needs, key messaging and tools such as FAQs
- Proactivity, excellent organisational skills and high level of attention to detail
- Degree or qualification in HR or Business (desirable)
- Experience with HR management systems (desirable)
- Valid driver's license
