About the role

Are you someone that that loves wine and has exceptional customer service skills? Then we would love to hear from you! 

We are now recruiting a casual Cellar Door Host at Berri Estates to deliver exceptional customer experience to our visitors, showcasing some the depth of the Accolade Wines portfolio.  

This role is perfect for a candidate that is passionate about wine and looking for flexibility around other commitments. We are seeking a flexible team member to work 2-3 shifts per week, with the opportunity for additional shifts. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience to cellar door customers, recommending wines, and acting as tour guide
• Operate the cash register, including daily opening, closing and balancing duties
• Promote our wine club membership to visitors and sign up new members
• Undertake daily housekeeping duties to maintain the cellar door appearance
• Restock the cellar door and stock room
• Pick, pack and dispatch wine orders for customers

What you'll bring:

• A genuine understanding and passion for wine, and the ability to communicate brand and SKU information to customers.   
• Exceptional customer service skills, providing our customers with the best experience possible.  
• Responsible Service of Alcohol training (RSA) 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with experience in a cellar door or the wine industry (highly desirable)  
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft suit and EDM software (desirable)
