We are now recruiting for an Assistant Materials Planner to join our global Supply Chain and Operations team at our world-class bottling site in Bristol. Part of a small and friendly team of Materials Planners, this role is vital in ensuring the continued supply of consumable supplies to meet the production schedule.

This role is part-time working 14.5 hours per week, with some flexibility around working days which would then become fixed each week. 

This is a Maternity Cover so is temporary on a Fixed Term Contract for 12+ months until February 2023.

The role is based with the team at The Park in Avonmouth, with some flexibility to work from home once fully trained in the role.

Key responsibilities include:

•    Manage onsite inventory of consumable supplies
•    Review, interpret and action outputs from the Production Management System on a daily basis, to ensure availability of materials
•    Maintain the accuracy of the data within the MRP system
•    Build relationships with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries
•    Record supplier performance and attend online supplier review meetings
•    Support the Materials Team in reporting “Phase In Phase Out” of components
•    Data and reporting validation
•    Resolve any issues that may arise relating to purchase orders

What you’ll bring:

•    Excellent organisational skills, flexible approach in a fast-paced environment
•    Highly computer literate in Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint
•    Previous MRP experience would be useful but not essential as full training will be provided
•    Able to work independently and use own initiative
•    Excellent communication skills and a strong team player

Salary £9,480 pa for 14.5 hours per week (equivalent to £12.57 per hour) plus an annual wine allowance, on top of your salary!
