We are now recruiting for a robust role for a systems savvy Senior Analyst - Inventory Costing & Systems with experience in manufacturing and inventory management. This role will heavily support the budget process for COGS commercial standard setting and own the end to end year-end inventory revaluation process.  There is a strong value creation agenda Accolade Wines is driving which this role will contribute to, working closely with key stakeholders in our operations network to manage and deliver targets. Excitingly, Accolade Wines is investing heavily in upgrading its IT infrastructure over the upcoming years and this role is pivotal to ensuring its success. 

You will based in our Adelaide Office, with flexibility to work from home.

This role is full-time and permanent.
 

Key responsibilities include:

•    Monthly and quarterly performance reporting and budget / forecast reviews
•    Building and continuously improving the Reporting and Planning function processes, ways of working, roles, tools/models to deliver better reporting and analysis to support business decisions
•    Manage day to day finance requirements including inventory valuation for ANZ, winery process flows, costings and item set up
•    Act as a gatekeeper for New Product Development assessments between Operations and Commercial
•    Drive the value creation agenda whilst partnering with the business
•    Key finance lead in IT upgrades and projects

What you’ll bring:

•    7 + years’ standard cost and manufacturing accounting experience in medium to large commercial industries
•    Strong MS Excel skills with exposure to modern ERP financial systems (JDE preferred)
•    Develop a clear understanding of the key drivers that will drive business performance (i.e. generate insights)
•    Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders to achieve a positive commercial outcome
•    Experience in planning and delivering value by proactively supporting successful project delivery
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills and efficient time management skills
•    Advanced excel and financial modelling skills
•    University degree in accounting/finance or related discipline 
•    CA/CPA professional accreditation preferred
