IT Business Analyst - Viticulture and Winemaking

About the role

We are now recruiting for an IT Business Analyst to join our Global Information Technology team, based in Berri or Adelaide. Reporting to the IT Business Partner – Viticulture and Winemaking, this role will work across the business to elicit, analyse, communicate, and validate requirements to drive IT solutions and best outcomes for the business.
 

Key responsibilities include:

• Drive process innovation, improvement, and recommendations with key stakeholders
• Work with the business to define requirements to deliver faster business value
• Work with IT Business Partners and Leads to develop business cases for building prototypes, proof of concepts, or minimum viable products as required.
• Proactively identify, analyse options, and provide recommendations for improving effectiveness and mitigating risks.
• Support current and future projects of work to deliver improvements for our micro-apps and workflow solutions 
   

What you’ll bring:

• This role will suit someone with a manufacturing, FMCG, or beverage background, who is keen to learn about the production of wine and how the IT role supports this. Experience includes:
• 2- 3 years experience as a Business Analyst with a strong ability to decipher and conduct data analysis is highly desirable
• Documenting Standard Operating Procedures
• Experience mapping processes and workflow to business application functionality    
• Strong experience in Microsoft Office suits (Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Solid verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to facilitate presentations and training
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, or similar is highly desirable
• Experience in the Wine Industry or mid-tier FMCG is highly desirable
