We are now recruiting for a HSEQ Training Specialist to join our Health, Safety and Environment team.  This role provides national capability to develop, implement and maintain HSEQ training programs and management of the competency framework.  As a business partner, you will support operational leaders with the management of HSEQ risk by providing specialist advice and training solutions.   

You will be based in our Adelaide CBD office, with flexibility to work from home.

This role is a Fixed-Term 6 Month Contract.

Key responsibilities include:

•    Coordinate the development and maintenance of ANZ Training Needs Analysis and Competency Framework.
•    Identify training methods and appropriate external courses to support employee competencies.
•    Deliver workshops, training sessions and facilitated discussions for nominated internal training programs.
•    Support the development, deployment and maintenance of eLearning platform(s), tools and employee training records. 
•    Support the development of site-based resources to facilitate the delivery of local operational HSE & Quality risk training.
•    Support the maintenance and improvement of HSE & Quality training resources, user guides and materials.
•    Develop course materials and other documents such as handouts, manuals and exercises
•    Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to identify and implement improvements to operational activities involving workplace health & safety related issues.
•    Support the development and maintenance of broader Quality & HSE strategic initiatives and programs including sustainability related projects.

What you'll bring

•    7+ years of operational experience in manufacturing, construction or field-based activities involving WHS management.
•    Relevant tertiary qualification and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
•    Knowledge in and use of Learning Management Systems.
•    Knowledge of ISO management standards. 
•    Knowledge of AQF Competency-based training and similar training structures.
•    Highly competent with MS office Word/ PowerPoint/ Excel, e-Learning software.
•    Ability to facilitate training programs, well-developed communication and report writing skills
