We are now recruiting for a Director Global and ANZ Premium Winemaking to join our Supply Chain and Operations Team.  Providing strategic leadership, this role is responsible for delivery of our premium wine supply through an efficient and simplified network.  You will create flexibility and manage inventory to deliver an optimal outcome in both price and quality.  As a people leader, you will provide direction for Global Winemaking, quality and cost, manage the global portfolio and provide operational leadership for the ANZ Premium Winemaking network.

You will be based in our Adelaide office, with flexibility to work from home.

This role is full-time and permanent.
 

Key responsibilities include:

•    Deliver the long-term strategy for Group Winemaking & ANZ Premium Operational Winemaking.
•    Work closely with GM Grape & Bulk Supply to ensure optimal sourcing model (owned/grower/bulk).
•    Develop winery enhancements through technology and best in class improvements.
•    Input and review Global portfolio to improve and streamline.
•    Ensure Oak capital plans deliver capital optimisation.
•    Work across winemaking to ensure harmonisation and cost optimisation.
•    Ensure wine grading post vintage delivers best outcome.
•    Deliver Value Creation throughout winemaking.
•    Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
•    Trouble-shoot problems within the bulk wine structure and identify lead time issues & suggestions for improving freight budget.
 

What you’ll bring:

•    Track record of building a High Performing Team.
•    Change management experience.
•    Strong Leadership credentials.
•    Minimum 10 years’ experience across winemaking.
•    Winemaking Qualification.
•    Tertiary Degree and/or Business Management Qualification.
•    Strategic mindset, excellent communication skills and a passion for wine!
