About us

We are now recruiting for an experienced Senior Payroll Officer, to drive payroll best practices and ensure the smooth running of the day to day processes. You will be supporting the team to meet strict payroll deadlines and implement stronger practices in place to reduce processing times. 
Based at our Adelaide CBD location with flexibility to work from home, in this full-time and permanent opportunity.

Key responsibilities include

•    Supporting the overall payroll function of the ANZP & Asia business to ensure timely, accurate processing and disbursement of payroll.
•    Month end payroll reporting for ANZP & Asia and provide reporting on payroll expense to key stakeholders on a needs be basis.
•    Timely and accurate payroll processing in accordance with Fair Work Act, awards, EB agreements and contracts.
•    Support the team with payroll processing inclusive of onboarding, resignations, employee changes, and employee moves. 
•    Supporting year end payroll reporting requirements and audit, including liaison with auditors.
•    Maintaining industry knowledge of changes to legislative, Award, ATO and EBA provisions and support implementation of changes to ensure compliance.
•    Review payroll procedures to ensure best practice and to streamline the process.

What you'll bring

•    Minimum 5 years’ experience in Global Payroll Management.
•    Experience in setting up payroll arrangements for international employees will be highly regarded. 
•    Strong problem-solving ability, analytical and numeracy skills. 
•    Award knowledge will be highly regarded in Wine industry Award, Clerks Private Sector Award, Manufacturing Associated Industries and Occupations Award.
•    Systems knowledge: Ascender Preceda, Kronos timekeeper.
•    Understanding of payroll legislative requirements – Long Service Leave Act (all states).
•    Proactivity, excellent organisational skills and a passion for wine!
