About the role

We are now recruiting for a Business Analyst – Wineries and Viticulture to join our global Supply Chain Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for day to day delivery of wineries and viticulture finance – including month end processes, journals, reconciliations, reporting, project support and analysis. You will business partner cost centre managers to provide insights into department performance to assist in delivering the operational performance and value creation agenda.
You can be based from our Adelaide office, with flexibility to work from home.
This role is full-time and permanent.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide support and focus on key areas of the business, including:
- ANZ CAPEX submissions and approvals
- ANZ Vintage Costing calculations (Pre & Post vintage)
- Delivery of best in class financial and performance management practices
- Cultural change within finance and operations
- Process, system and automation improvements
- Submission of quarterly and annual levies across ANZ
- Assist with managing the value creation pipeline; ideation, quantification, execution and post implementation reviews
- Support delivery of the viticulture and wineries financial performance; embed a strong R&O and forecasting process with cost centre managers
- Perform analysis of monthly results, including future focused, actionable commentary and insights; ensure month end books are closed on time
- Ensure financial data is appropriately recorded and maintained within relevant systems
- Support the annual budget and strategic planning process for viticulture and wineries
- Support & drive the blend variance approval process with winemaking; ensuring no material downgrades and that product optimisation targets are achieved
- Involvement in project work, and commitment to continuous improvement and value creation, with the opportunity to be recognised and win awards for outstanding results!
What you’ll bring:
- Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in Professional Services, Financial/Management Accounting and/or Commercial Finance roles
- FP&A experience desirable
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting / Finance or related discipline
- CA/CPA professional accreditation (or near completion)
- An impeccable attention to detail
- The ability to hit deadlines
- High level of communication; keeping stakeholders engaged and updated
- Proactivity, excellent organisational skills and a passion for wine!
